LETROZOLE Ovulation Predictor Kit (OPK) IUI
Your treatment plan will be submitted to FCNE’s insurance team once all of the ordered testing
is resulted and valid consents are on file.
Please note that the insurance approval process can take up to 21 business days.
Once approved, you will be notified via the portal. The clinical team will then begin to work on
the medication order within 72 hours. Please note that in most cases Prior Authorization is
required (PA). The time from medication order to delivery to your home could take up to 10-14
days.
Please note that a cycle can’t be started until you have received all of the medications.
Instructions
Call the Care Team @ 1-781-944-0052 on the first day of your full flow period by 3 PM.
You will do a Home Pregnancy test and call the Care Team with results.
You will be instructed to take LETROZOLE orally Cycle Days 2 through 6.
Start testing for your LH surge with the OPK (Ovulation Predictor Kit) on the morning of Cycle
Day 10. Follow directions for the test kit you are using.
If you are using Donor Sperm be sure to have it delivered to the Reading office prior to your expected Cycle Day 1.
Call the Care Team @ 1-781-944-0052 the MORNING that you detect your positive LH surge
with the OPK. We will schedule your IUI for the next day.
If you have Insurance coverage we must have Insurance approval to schedule your IUI. If you
are Self Pay you must pay for the IUI before we can schedule it.
Your pregnancy test will be scheduled 14 days after your IUI.
